Minor Hawks is a Learn-to-Play Hockey program sponsored by the Chicago Blackhawks and offered through CUYHA. This low-cost program is for boys and girls age 4-8 years old who are new to hockey and want to "suit up" in full gear and try this great game! It is specifically designed to teach NEW hockey players how to skate.

Each session is 8 weeks, with one practice per week. The fee for each session includes rental of all equipment needed to get started and on-ice instruction by experienced coaches.  Fall and Winter sessions are typically offered.

Online registration will open on December 5, 2011 for the Winter 2012 Session.  Maximum capacity is 50 skaters. The session typically fills very quickly, so plan to register soon after the online form is available. 

Please note:  Registration priority is given to skaters who are brand new to the Minor Hawk program.  Those skaters who have completed two previous Minor Hawk sessions should register for House League.

October 11- December 6 (no practice the week of Thanksgiving)

Fee - $75 (includes rental equipment and jersey)
