Beginning with the 2025-2026 travel season, the Northern Illinois Hockey League (NIHL) will only sanction Girls Hockey. Moving forward, CUYHA will be affiliated with Central States Developmental Hockey League (CSDHL) for all applicable levels. This development has caused a number of changes that the CUYHA must attend to.
